Banana Split Cake
This is neither healthy nor low calorie, but it's oh, so good!
Crust:
1 stick butter or margarine 1 cup flour 3 T. sugar 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Crumble together and pat evenly in a 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 deg, 15-20 minutes. Cool.
Filling:
2 cups powdered sugar 2 eggs 1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened 1 t. vanilla
Beat together for 10 minutes. Spread on cooled crust
Layer on the following:
2 cups drained crushed pineapple
3 or 4 sliced bananas
1 large container of Cool Whip
Sprinkle on chopped nuts and garnish with maraschino cherries.
