Is there a natural way to relieve excess water,hubby gave me one of his lacix oh goodness don't want to do that again.

I take a prescription water pill.I was wondering the same thing,hope someone has an answer.

Celery, onion, eggplant, asparagus and watermelon are said to have a diuretic effect. I use iced tea made with plain black tea (sugar or not, doesn't matter)

Be careful if you're taking lasix, though. I don't know if these foods are strong enough to replace that. So if you beef up on the foods, cut back on the pills very slowly. (I can just see my dad ditching his lasix for watermelon. I'm afraid his legs would swell up like watermelons themselves!)

According to my EO chart, Geranium, lime, linden blossoms, and Patchouli are all diuretics.

Vitamin B6 for edema is interesting. I wonder if it reduces edema or if the lack of it causes it.

lymphatic drainage massage it works. I have edema since 2006 I believe. I'm going to a edema physical therapy treatment to get ride of it. It works really good I can fit in my shoe's good now
