Rearrange Furniture to Relieve StressWhen under a lot of stress, I take to rearranging my furniture and decorative pieces. It is calming and a distraction from whatever is creating stress in my life at that particular moment. Once the task is completed, it gives me a new environment in which to think clearly and just relax and enjoy. By Cathy from California www.thriftyfun.com/tf12467558.tip.htmlI don't know about you, but I think that would cause me stress. Once I get my furniture where it works for me, I never move it again.

LOL, Joan!
I'm with you, Gayle. I find a spot that works and leave stuff alone! Do the same with the kitchen cabinets and drawers, too.

Yep, me too. My mom was the same way, but I always assumed it was because my sister was blind. Maybe not, though.

We didn't move any livingroom furniture for several years when we had Goliath. He was both blind and deaf, but got around ok in the house.

Mama used to rearrange everything a couple times a year. Sometimes it would be the living room furniture. Other times it would be the kitchen cabinets. It wasn't to find a more efficient layout, just to make it different. Used to drive my dad and I bonkers.

My mom did the same thing! I never understood it. If it ain't broke, don't rearrange it.
I've been doing a LOT of rearranging lately. I assure you, it's not relieving any stress. Causing it, yes, but relieving it, no.

I'm a 'figure out what works best and leave it alone' person. Mother used to rearrange stuff a lot. I hated it. With Bethany, you don't move stuff around in the room. She gets really upset about it and tries to put it back.
