I saw those -- brilliant. I will be getting some white cotton and putting them in our kit, too.

I have a bunch of this type of yarn stored, figuring I'd make wash clothes when needed. This is a great idea. I went to pick up more ACE bandages for my medical preps and now they have some kind of anti microbial stuff in them that they warn can irritate the skin. Nice! Susan

I think I would try one, and then try it out and see if it worked. ACE bandages have elastic in them and give compression. I would try one of these and see if it did the compression right, before making a ton of them.

There are instructions for knitting these, Gayle. I know you know how to knit. It's like making a skinny scarf.

Thanks, Mary! When I was going through stuff yesterday, I found a whole bag of old mittens, hats and scarves from when the kids were little. There were at least 4 baby scarves in there. I'll have to check if they're cotton. If they are, I should be all set. If not, I also found a big skein of cotton yarn. I found most of my knitting needles more than a month ago. I can knit some.
