Have you posted the recipe for the dishwasher tabs you use? I tried to search for it but didn't find it.

Yep, that's the one! I used one last night, too, and it worked great. They dry hard. Just sit it on the bottom of the dishwasher.

Just mixed a batch and have it drying in the window. I was surprised that it only filled one tray!

Yeah, I was too.
One thing I miss, though, using these. I miss how the dishwasher soap bleaches the tea stains out of the coffee cups. My coffee cups get looking kind of rough after a week or so and I have to give them a little rub down with a soapy rag. Funny how dish soap and a rag will get the stain right off, but not the dishwasher.
I guess it's still better, though, not having our dishes coated with chemicals and having all that stuff discharge to my peach trees.

Could you just wipe them out as you put them in?

I figure by time I wipe them out with a rag, ain't much sense sending them through the dishwasher, too.

I made a batch of these today, but used white vinegar instead of lemon juice. partly because it was cheaper and partly for the antibacterial properties. I ended up with 24. I used a half-sphere candy mold for most of them, but 3 of the sections were melted from putting it in the dishwasher, so I used an egg carton for the rest. I think an ice cube tray would make them too big. These barely fit in the dispenser.
I'm trying them for the first time right now. They've got their work cut out for them. That dishwasher is packed!

The lady who made the recipe said hers are too big for the dispenser, too. (Mine are too.) She said she just sits one on the floor of the dishwasher. They're so hard, it takes several times through the wash thing before they're fully dissolved.
I made a double batch yesterday. Let them dry longer this time and they are super hard.

If they don't dissolve in the wash, how are the dishes getting rinsed?
Maybe mine will dissolve since they're smaller. I just looked in the dishwasher and didn't see either of them (I put one in each dispenser)
