Homemade Honey Peanut Butter contributed by gayla
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 1/2 cups peanuts or any nut of choice I 've done macadamia, cashew, almond, and of course peanuts 3/4 cup of honey 1/4 cup of peanut oil an additional 1/2 cup or more of chopped nuts if you want crunchy peanut butter May also add a small amount of vanilla and/or cinnamon to taste about 1/4 teaspoon each
A small amount of salt if desired
Pour oil, nuts, honey and spices if desired into food processor or blender.
Pulse until smooth and combined .
To thin add more nuts. If you want it crunchy stir in chopped nuts.
store in tightly sealed jar in fridge up to 1 month(won't last that long)
Stir before each use.
