garlic soup
16 to 18 cloves of garlic ( yes 16 to 18 ) 3 tablespoons olive olive or Vegetables oil 2 quarts stock beef or chicken is preferred I have added vegetable stock it was great .
peel the garlic and saute' in a large pot in the oli over a very low heat be careful not to burn when it soft . Add the stock , and simmer for 20 minutes
you can vary this adding a variety such as thyme bay leaves , or rosemary . you can stir in a number one or two egg yolks just before serving or noodle , rice, or potatoes Might also added for a more filling soup .

I would love this, but I might have to eat the whole batch by myself. You know, if I only make half, everybody will like it.

My Sil and I both have used this as the base for a beef vegetable soup .. it makes a really good vegetable beed soup.
