The old light cover was so brittle that it just kept breaking. I painted the lattice dk purple and lined it with wax paper as a light diffuser!

These are gifts I made for my two best-ies birthdays. They get the FL mugs, and my mug has their states on them. Now I just have to get myself to wait until December when their birthdays are!

Very cool light cover! I like that it gives you someplace to hang decorations, too.

This used to be my naked bathroom mirror. For $25 and 30 minutes of my time I dressed it and couldn't be happier! I just bought some water proof sealant and 2 square feet of tile that I liked. (Thankfully it was on clearance!)

I also installed a tension rod under the sink to hang spray bottles and paper towel on, hung my "extra" fabric on a multi-skirt hanger and put together a place for DH's hats out of a hanger and cheap shower hooks.

i think that someone who does caricatures on electrical outlets is either oooozing with unrequited talent or else has just way too much time on their hands -

No tats. I get bored with things too easily. I'd want to be changing them all the time. I have designed several tats, though. (Ben has one I designed)

Cool stuff, M! Love the faces on the outlet, too. I believe someone would have somewhat to say if I did that.

This isn't my house so I only did it on the one outlet, (but it's in the main bathroom, rofl).
Today I'm reclaiming the house and then trying out not~paper~paper towels and bowl covers in PUL fabric. If I get those finished in time I'm going to repaint the top half of the living room.

a little warning - the flash point temp for wax paper is likely much lower than that of the plastic panel originally installed in the ceiling fixture - you might want to monitor it when summer temps add to the total heat just to make sure you haven't created a hazard -
don't need none of you guys turned into crispy critters -

Thanks Joan. I'm thinking that since they are florescents it "should" be ok. FC that I don't burn the house down. That would suck!
