While looking at the "tiny house" thread, I saw one of the women was growing mushrooms for water filtration. This peeked my curiosity so I looked around the net a bit. Honestly, it sounds like "they" want to make it sound harder than it is by using big scientific words and adding as many steps as possible. To me, it seems to break down into a few simple steps. Am I over simplifying? If I mix rabbit poo with Spanish moss and keep it warm, dark and moist, why can't I just throw some button mushrooms from the store in there and let nature do its thing?
