We had some kind of stuff that I made up, using leftovers. I browned some hamburger and 4 smoked sausages, then added a big bowl of pinto beans, some garlic, red pepper flakes, and 3 diced potatoes. It looked like it needed more liquid, so I added a can of chicken broth. Surprisingly, it wasn't half bad. I might even make it again one day.
I made cheese and black pepper biscuits to have with it. Those were yummy!

sounds good. never heard of cheese and black pepper biscuits, but they sound good. The irish, [which I am], make a dish very close to what you made for supper. sounds good to me. I just fried a couple of pieces of bacon, made some gravy, and had it over bread, with a baked potato. it was pretty good. nothing fancy, just by my self. don't feel t o hot, and didn't feel like cooking, for sure. eve feel like that? just don't want to cook?

I didn't want to cook tonight. I felt kind of sick. That's why I just mixed everything that was in the fridge.
I saw the biscuits on Food Network. I didn't follow their recipe, though. I just added some cheddar cheese to my regular biscuits, brushed the tops with melted butter, then sprinkled them with pepper and baked them.

I thawed out some ground beef yesterday and used 1/2 to make pizza - which was delicious by the way. So tonight I need to use the rest fo the ground beef and cannot think of a think to do with it for some reason so I"m just fixing hamburgers. I have an eggplant in the fridge I need to use so I think I'll fix some fried eggplant to go with the burgers. Then of course some oven fries.

I ended up making spaghetti. That and chili are the things I usually fall back on when I don't have anything in mind to cook. I can have either one of them on the table in half an hour.
Ice cream for dessert.

have you ever put chili over spaghetti and then a slice of american cheese on top? oh it's so good! I've done that with cheddar cheese, but Dan (my hubby) would probably like American better. He'll eat chili any way he can get it. He asks me for it so often he's turned me against it. I just have peanut butter on chili nights.

We are having hamburgers with all the trimmin's, potatoes all rotten (sorry augraten family joke), and mixed veggies heavy on the peas, maybe corn, I'm craving corn.
I'm having an urge to eat down what we have on hand for some reason. The hamburgers and potatoes are from Omaha Steaks. The taters are in these little puff balls that do not look appetizing, but are REALLY yummy!!

We're having chicken teriyaki stir-fry. I think the girls and I will make tuna macaroni salad for tomorrow's lunch.
Looks like creamy potatoes are a hit this week. On Monday night, we had fried pork chops with mashed potatoes and gravy. On Tuesday night, we had scalloped potatoes and ham. Last night, I had Dave & Buster's awesome mashed potatoes with BBQ chicken. So, we're going to take a break from potatoes for a few days.
